COHAA Congratulates Three Members On Their New Leadership Roles

The Central Ohio Agile Association (COHAA) would like to recognize and congratulate three members for their new leadership roles in the organization. These members volunteer their time to further COHAA’s goal of promoting the use of Agile practices in software delivery by helping others learn and succeed on their path to Agility.

Reshma Pathare, VP Membership
Reshma is an Agile Key Lead with a strong track record of accomplishment in leading teams through complex projects and the challenging transition to Agile processes. She is experienced in applying Agile approaches and incorporating Lean thinking for continuous improvement to increase efficiencies.

Reshma has a strong project/process management, business analysis and quality assurance background. She has worked closely with all levels of leadership on top-tier multi-million dollar projects in both private and public sector domains and has led on-site and off-shore teams.

In addition to her involvement with COHAA, Reshma has been on the Board for COQAA and volunteered with IIBA. She is also active in the local BA, PM and QA communities. In her spare time, Reshma enjoys volunteering for non-profits and providing technology support

Justin Browder, VP Marketing
Justin is an Agile Project Manager and Coach with a solid record of accomplishment in transforming and leading software development teams through complex projects and the challenging transition from Waterfall to Agile processes. He is a proven leader experienced in the application of Agile approaches and a strong believer in continuous process improvement to increase project efficiency.

Justin has a strong technology background and has led successful projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. He has deep experience managing project financials and working closely with executives on high-budget and high-visibility projects utilizing co-located and globally distributed teams. Justin has developed an expertise in planning and implementing technology solutions for retail distribution, public sector, and entrepreneurial start-up organizations.

Justin has been active with COHAA since its inception and has also been active in the national Agile community since being introduced to iterative development concepts.

Brad Nelson, acting VP Volunteer Relations
Brad is an Agile Project Manager and Coach with a solid record of accomplishment in transforming and leading software development teams through the challenging transition from Waterfall to Agile processes. He is experienced in the application of Agile software development frameworks in the development of robust systems that deliver true business value. He is a strong proponent of mentoring and life-long learning.

Brad is equally proficient as an Agile or SDLC Project Manager with many years of IT Project Management experience. He has a technical background in software development, infrastructure, database, and device integration. Brad has performed on-site project management and consulting services to over 150 companies nationally and internationally. He has extensive sponsor and customer interface experience in the development and delivery of complicated software systems. Brad has experience in Fortune 98, private industry, software vendor, VAR, entrepreneurial start-up, and consulting companies.
